Privacy & request handling
The designated privacy contact for TruckRepairCompany.com is the Privacy Lead. This site collects only information reasonably needed to understand, route, respond to, secure and document a request.
Information collected
Depending on the form, we may collect contact details, service or project location, technical or project information, provider-fit details, optional uploaded images, and basic attribution information such as landing page, referrer and UTM parameters.
Purpose and sharing
Information is used to classify the request, identify relevant provider categories, communicate about the request, prevent abuse and duplicate submissions, and measure service performance. Where you consent, request information may be shared with independent providers solely so they can evaluate and respond to that specific request.
No unrelated data sale
This production package does not include behavioural advertising or a data-broker feature. A provider receiving a request is not authorized by this site to resell it or use it for unrelated marketing.
Service providers and cross-border processing
Hosting, form processing, security, email and lead-management providers may process information on our behalf, including outside your province, state or country in jurisdictions whose laws may differ from local laws.
Location data
Exact or near-exact roadside/service location may be necessary for a truck-down request. Location details from urgent requests are targeted for deletion or de-identification within 30 days after closure unless needed for a transaction, dispute, safety record or legal obligation.
Retention
Unmatched ordinary repair requests are targeted for deletion or de-identification within 90 days. Urgent location data receives the shorter treatment above. Active transaction, fleet or dispute records may be retained for up to 24 months from last activity, or longer where law requires.
Your privacy choices
You may request access, correction or deletion of information associated with your request, or withdraw consent for future provider sharing. We may request reasonable information to verify that the request relates to you.
Security and minimization
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used for information under our control. Do not submit passwords, government identifiers, payment-card information or sensitive information that is unnecessary for the request.
Privacy request
Use the privacy-request form below for access, correction, deletion, consent withdrawal or a privacy concern.
Optional private workspaces
Some recurring-use sections offer an optional private workspace after a successful request. The workspace can store profile details, saved locations or assets, project/work-order notes, and identifiers linking later requests to the same workspace. It is not required to submit a request.
Workspace access uses a long, random private key rather than a password. Anyone who has the private workspace link can access that workspace, so the link should be treated like a private document link. The access key is stored in the browser when possible. Workspace data can be deleted from the workspace controls.
